Media Power Youth Filmmaking Camp

Media Power Youth is hosting two media camps this summer where youth can experience the art of filmmaking while exploring nature, science, and making new friends. These camps provide a unique, creative challenge for youth ages 10 to 14 and are hosted in partnership with the SEE Science Center and the NH Audubon Massabesic Center. Media Power Youth’s filmmaking experiences give young people the opportunity to define a creative idea and bring it to life with a film crew. Each camper will try their hand at a variety of video production techniques, including directing, scriptwriting, filming, and editing. Campers will also engage in animal encounters, hikes, prop making, and many other interactive activities. Weekly sessions start on July 8th and run through August 2nd.

Conservation Quest Camp

Session 1: July 8 – 12
Session 2: July 15 – 19
NH Audubon Massabesic Center

Join us as we merge the excitement of filmmaking with nature exploration! We’ll get hands-on with cameras, learn the secrets of editing, and play with sound to make our conservation stories come alive. We’ll also have plenty of time to hike through the forest, explore grasslands and ponds, and have fun in the outdoors with new friends.

Flip The Script Camp

July 29 – August 2
SEE Science Center

Budding filmmakers will spend the week immersing themselves in all things possible (and impossible) through the lens of science fiction storytelling. Campers will explore scientific discoveries as they make their very own live action short film. Creativity knows no bounds!

Basic Needs

Basic needs are defined as something that we must have in order to live. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section provides resources across the community where essential services and supports can be found.

Early Childhood

Early childhood education not only prepares our youngest students to be in school, but also supports the development of a child’s social and emotional skills.
