Sasisho la Baraza la Bingwa wa Manchester Proud

Manchester Proud hivi karibuni imeanza mchakato wa kuongeza Baraza la Bingwa wetu ili kupanua uwezo na kuongeza uwakilishi wa jamii. Baraza letu la Bingwa linasimamia misheni na kazi ya Manchester Proud na washiriki pia huhudumu katika Vikundi mbalimbali vya Kazi. Wanachama kadhaa wa sasa wa Baraza wanakaribia mwisho wa masharti yao, na hivyo kufanya huu kuwa wakati mwafaka wa kutafuta wanachama wapya kupitia mchakato wa wazi wa maombi ya jumuiya. Kikundi chetu cha Kazi cha Uanachama na Usawa kilitayarisha tathmini ya ujuzi na mahitaji ya Baraza ili kuongoza ukaguzi na uteuzi wa waombaji.

Baada ya kupokea maombi, majina ya wagombea yaliondolewa kabla ya kusambazwa kwa kamati ya uteuzi, hivyo kufanya mchakato huo kuwa wa haki na lengo kadiri inavyowezekana. Kuhusu mchakato wa kutuma maombi na uteuzi, Kathleen Cook, Mwezeshaji wa Kikundi cha Kazi cha Uanachama anaelezea, “Ilitia moyo kuona jinsi watu walivyojitolea kwa jamii, shule, na wanafunzi”.

Kura ya Baraza itafanyika Aprili ili kuwachagua wanachama wapya, ambao watatangazwa kufikia Mei 1, 2023. Kuanzia hapo, wanachama wapya wa Baraza watapitia mchakato wa kuingia ili kuhakikisha kuwa wanafahamu kikamilifu dhamira, maadili na utendakazi wa Manchester Proud.

Kwenda mbele, Manchester Proud inakusudia kutoa ombi la kila mwaka la maombi ya wanachama wapya wa Baraza. Kathleen Cook anasema, “Ushiriki wa jumuiya unahitajika na unahitajika, ni kuhusu usawa wa seti za ujuzi wa kibinafsi na kitaaluma”.
