Granite YMCA Empowered Futures Program

The Granite YMCA’s Empowered Futures program, a Childcare Apprenticeship in Partnership
with the ReGen Valley Tech Hub, is dedicated to tackling New Hampshire’s childcare shortage
and building a stronger community by developing the next generation of early childhood
education and youth development professionals.

This brand new and highly immersive 10-week program offers paid hands-on learning
opportunities across various settings, providing you with intentional training and courses, peer
discussions, and real-world application. You’ll gain invaluable experience while working with
children from infants as young as 12 weeks to school-aged youth.

Application can be found on the Empowered Futures website:/https://www.graniteymca.org/programs/empowered-futures/

Health and Wellness

Being healthy is so important to enable learning and building a positive and engaging community.

Basic Needs

Basic needs are defined as something that we must have in order to live. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section provides resources across the community where essential services and supports can be found.

Early Childhood

Early childhood education not only prepares our youngest students to be in school, but also supports the development of a child’s social and emotional skills.
