Job Corps is the nation’s largest free residential career training and education program for young adults ages 16–24, offering hands-on training, education, and support services at no cost.
Job Corps is designed to help low-income young adults aged 16 through 24 gain the skills, education, and support needed to build successful careers in high-demand industries. Eligible participants can earn a high school diploma or equivalent, receive career technical training, and access college credits while living in a supportive residential environment.
Participants receive tuition-free housing, meals, basic healthcare, and a living allowance while enrolled. Job Corps also provides life skills training, counseling, and transitional support, including assistance with employment, housing, transportation, and childcare.
