Field Trips

The Discovery Center welcomes thousands of students for onsite field trips every year. Field trips offer schools the opportunity to explore the exhibit galleries and watch a planetarium show for a more accessible cost than regular general admission.

The 2025-26 school year price is $9 per person, with one chaperone for every 10 students receiving free admission. Next Generation Science Standards include Earth and space science topics in each K-12 grade level, making the Discovery Center the perfect place to expand and enhance classroom lessons. Thanks to a recent foundation grant, we can offer free on-site or outreach education programming to schools in New Hampshire with 40% or more of students qualifying to receive free or reduced lunch.

Basic Needs

Basic needs are defined as something that we must have in order to live. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section provides resources across the community where essential services and supports can be found.

Early Childhood

Early childhood education not only prepares our youngest students to be in school, but also supports the development of a child’s social and emotional skills.
