MP Update – November 2025

Seasons of Change and Shared Purpose

A Message from the Executive Director of Manchester Proud

As we move from November toward December—with cooler temperatures, shorter days, and the first hints of winter—we’re reminded how quickly time moves and how important it is to pause, reflect, and realign. This moment invites us to look back with gratitude for what we’ve achieved together and look forward with intention for the year ahead.

Across Manchester, we’re seeing incredible examples of community-driven support that reflect the compassion and strength of our city. From Thanksgiving baskets delivered to families, to school-based food drives, coat drives, and donation efforts across neighborhoods—each gesture represents an investment in our students and their well-being. These actions matter deeply. We know that children cannot learn, grow, or thrive when their basic needs are not met—and our community continues to step up.

At Manchester Proud, the final weeks of the year are focused on completing our strategic planning process and laying the foundation for our next chapter of work. This planning is not just an organizational exercise—it is a commitment to alignment, shared priorities, and long-term systems that support sustainable impact.

Our greatest strength remains the collective effort of our partners—schools, families, nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors—working toward a shared vision. When we coordinate our efforts and row in the same direction, we bring the full power of collective impact to life. Together, we create a Manchester where every youth is supported, every opportunity is accessible, and every student feels seen and valued.

As we transition into December and the season of giving, I am deeply grateful for your dedication, partnership, and belief in what is possible for our students and our city. Because of you, Manchester is stronger—and proudly united.

With appreciation,
Aimee Kereage
