MY TURN Project Connect
MY TURN’s newest program model opened in Manchester in December 2021. Project Connect develops relationships with youth in the city of Manchester at high risk for criminal involvement. Project Connect uses a multi-pronged approach, employing both street outreach & case management staff to provide a combination of structured and unstructured programming. Outreach is targeted in the low-income, high-crime neighborhoods of the city. Program staff have a presence at a variety of community-based events while programming and case management take place at a multi-use location at 340 Granite Street. Our center hosts classes, guest speakers, support groups, and leisure space where participants will have access to a variety of positive extra-curricular activities.
MY TURN Project Complete
MY TURN Project Complete is open to anyone attending Central, West, or Memorial who is in need of an alternative way to earn their secondary credential. HiSET instructors provide a combination of in-person classes and one-on-one tutoring to prepare students to successfully complete the HiSET battery.
In addition, students in our Project Complete programs receive a variety of services to meet their individual needs including career guidance, post-secondary planning, paid work-based learning opportunities, job placement assistance, and more.
MY TURN Employment Plus Program
MY TURN Employment Plus Programs work with young people ages 16 to 24 who are not actively engaged in high school or college. We work with both high school graduates, and those in need of their high school credentials.

MY TURN Diploma Plus Programs work with young people ages 14 to 21 who are at risk of dropping out of high school or need additional support to be successful. We provide a variety of services to meet the individual needs of our students including academic instruction and tutoring, college and career exploration, college and industry tours, paid and unpaid work- based learning opportunities, assistance with barrier removal, and more.

Refugee School Impact Program
This program provides academic and social adjustment support for refugee children entering and graduating from K-12 education.
In-Home Supports
For children who live at home with their family and are eligible on the In-Home Supports (IHS) waiver, we offer the following services: Enhanced personal care: includes assistance and skills training with daily living skills, such as communication, socialization, health and personal safety, physical functioning, community involvement and client-specific goals. Family Management: the Family Manager coordinates all aspects of an individual’s program, including service agreements, IHS services, quality assurance and program budgets, and is a family’s contact person within the program. Oversight is provided for many aspects of the individual’s program including but not limited to home and community safety, medical/health care, personal care, homemaking, financial management and community mobility. Consultative Services: may include evaluation, training, mentoring and special instruction to improve the ability of the service provider, family or other care-givers to understand and support the individual’s developmental, functional, communication, socialization and health and behavioral needs. Respite services: short-term temporary relief from care taking responsibilities for the family. Environmental Modifications: adaptations to the home environment to ensure access, health and safety, as well as adaptations to vehicles to ensure the child’s safety and access to the community.

NH JAG IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
NH JAG is a statewide program for youth who seek to make the most of their high school education and pursue career and postsecondary educational interests. As part of a strong, national JAG Network, NH JAG teaches young adults academic and workplace competencies. Through comprehensive and proven practices, New Hampshire youth experience the value of a high school education while also developing teamwork, leadership, community service, and workplace skills to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities that await them in the world beyond school. By participating in the NH JAG program, young people across the state can explore career opportunities, discover personal strengths, gain confidence and take pride in their personal achievements. Programs include summer youth employment.
Millyard Museum
The Manchester Historic Association is one of the city’s most dynamic institutions and a significant force in Manchester’s economic and cultural growth. The organization is active in the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and it collaborates with other nonprofit organizations in many ways. It is supported by its members and other donors in the community, and also by corporate, government and foundation grants. Education is one of our most important missions, and Manchester Proud is the type of organization that can only enhance our ability to fulfill that mission.
Programs are offered at the Millyard Museum at 200 Bedford Street and at the MHA Research Center at 129 Amherst Street. The MHA also offers walking tours of the city’s Millyard, historic neighborhoods and cemeteries.

Finding your voice and building networks. Students are taught the power which can emerge when moving beyond an « Us versus Them » view to « We ». They gain active listening skills and public speaking, all necessary to respond to their leadership challenge.
New American Youth Mentoring & Cross Cultural Leadership Programming. INTRODUCTORY CLASS CROSS CULTURAL LEADERSHIP (CCL)
Take steps to build yourself up into the young leader we all know you can be. Learn about yourself, about other people, adapt skills to understand various cultural identities and build up your communication and listening skills. Learn the impact of stress on your mind and body. Learn how to deal with conflict management and how to provide and receive feedback. Lastly the team will identify a leadership challenge plan and carry out how to solve this challenge within the community.
